BAUBAU two family house

Amidst the greenery of Rancate, nestled between vineyards and tranquility, stands the Bau Bau two family house. The volume stretches along the plot, gently following the terrain and welcoming visitors into its central void, the true heart of the design. A staircase, the project’s key element, connects the levels arranged around daily rhythms: guest spaces on the ground floor, bedrooms on the first, and living and study areas above. Large openings on the short sides and smaller cuts along the long facade bring in light and frame the landscape. Warm interiors with soft blue exposed concrete dialogue with the titanium-zinc cladding, which shifts in tone throughout the day.
