Open House Ticino
Open House is a free public event designed to allow visitors to explore buildings and places of interest that are not usually accessible, and to discover the richness of architecture and the urban landscape. Getting to know your local area and its architecture increases the sense of belonging among the local population and gives visitors from outside the canton the opportunity to discover its hidden and obvious qualities.
After Zurich, Basel, and Bern, Ticino becomes the fourth Swiss location to host the international Open House format. The growing success of the initiative in other Swiss cities is one of the strengths of the new proposal in Ticino, thanks to the strong ties that the Open House Ticino Association has forged with organizers across the Alps who have considerable experience.
