Open House Ticino
Open House is a free public event designed to allow visitors to explore buildings and places of interest that are not usually accessible, and to discover the richness of architecture and the urban landscape. Getting to know your local area and its architecture increases the sense of belonging among the local population and gives visitors from outside the canton the opportunity to discover its hidden and obvious qualities.
Open House Ticino is part of Open House Worldwide, an international network that brings together more than 60 organizations around the world, all united by the goal of making architecture accessible to everyone. At the national level, it is a member of Open House Schweiz, the network that connects organizations in Zurich, Basel, Bern, Lucerne, St. Gallen, and Ticino, promoting collaboration, the exchange of experiences, and the sharing of expertise. This well-established network highlights local initiatives and fosters dialogue among citizens, architects, and communities.
