Open House Kids

Open House is an inclusive event that is not only aimed at architecture enthusiasts, but at the general public, including families and children. Open House Kids is a game designed to introduce children to the world of architecture and get them more involved during the event.

You are the architect!

During Open House Ticino, even the youngest are invited to look at architecture with fresh eyes.

Take your Open House Kids postcard, visit the buildings in the programme and try out a few simple missions of observation, imagination and drawing.

Find a window you like and draw it.

Imagine: if this house were an animal, which one would it be?

Would you live here? Yes, maybe or never? And what would you change?

Find a secret place where you would hide something.

Design something impossible to add to the building.

There are no right or wrong answers: your point of view is what counts!

And in the end, you have won!

Because you observed, imagined, drew and came up with an idea of your own.

This is already doing architecture.
