Squadra, 2024

The renovation project of the Enoteca Chiericati is the centrepiece of a transformation process in which the layout of the spaces is adapted to the new challenges of the winery. Founded in 1950, the winery has experienced incremental development, growing through successive building additions dictated by contingent needs. The proposed reorganisation now makes it possible to rationalise the warehouse on a single level and, at the same time, to place the wine cellar in the courtyard, enhancing the garden and offering a more generous and welcoming outdoor space. The teamwork was the result of a symbiosis between craftsmanship and design; it was therefore not an external architectural studio, but an integral part of the daily life of the site. This has made it easier to work with materials on site by reusing practically all demolition materials.
