Called to work in a neighborhood where "very simple rules, such as a network of a few orthogonal streets, a few alignments, a maximum height, a more or less uniform and homogeneous parceling, have produced an urban space of a certain quality," Aurelio Galfetti aims first and foremost to respect the existing urban fabric, arranging two nearly cubic volumes, similar in program and dimensions but deliberately different in their concrete declination, which encompass different typologies. The visit will focus primarily on the penthouse designed by Galfetti to crown the Nero building, characterized by a magnificent double-height loggia, a true summer living room and part of the "transversal space" around which the domestic environment is organized.
