Vinicola Carlevaro
Hämmerli Caccia Architetti, 2026
The new spaces for the Ghidossi Wine Group at the historic Vinicola Carlevaro in Bellinzona are the result of restoration and revitalization efforts on the complex located between the heart of Molinazzo and the Ticino River. In an old industrial building formerly used for winemaking, a tasting, sales, and exhibition space has been created. The exhibition concept features a surface of bottles arranged linearly along the length of the new interior façade, with a sculptural core at the center that dynamically separates the two main areas. The custom-designed furniture system integrates infrastructure and storage spaces. Additionally, an opening facade containing shelves for storing the crates used during the grape harvest has been added to the adjacent production building, thereby redesigning the entire western facade of the complex.
