Policentro Anziani di Losone - Residenza ai Noci
Michele Arnaboldi Architetti - Consorzio Rebatt, 2019 - 2022
The Multipurpose Center for the Elderly in Losone, designed by Michele Arnaboldi Architetti, stands perpendicularly to Via Cesura, featuring a large public park that serves as a meeting place for residents, families, and citizens. Spread across multiple levels, the ground floor houses public services opening onto an east garden; the first floor hosts a protected Alzheimer's unit with 12 rooms and a west garden; upper floors contain 48 single rooms and residential units. The exposed concrete and wood facades feature sliding shading panels and constant natural light. Built to Minergie standards, the building combines advanced structural techniques like white-tank waterproofing, high thermal insulation, and strict acoustic comfort.
As this is a functioning social-healthcare facility, respect for the privacy and well-being of the residents must be maintained.
Photographing guests and staff of the facility is forbidden.
Access to the sensitive areas of the facility will not be granted.
Certified building Minergie (TI-503)
