Durisch + Nolli Architetti, Jürg Buchli Ingegnere, 2010

The new Pavilion organizes the territory, completing the existing layout into the new VocationalTraining Campus through a precise architectural gesture. A large, exposed concrete platformelevates it from the ground to protect against floods, freeing space for storage and parking.Like a workbench upon which the precisely crafted piece rests, weightless.A transparent, flexible organism, defined by few identical modular elements repeated in series, where the Shed becomes the generating module for the entire artefact. Enveloped in a thinstainless-steel skin, the volume houses introverted classrooms and workshops, where largemonitors capture a shadowless, diffused north light ideal for precision benchwork. A rigoroussynthesis that transmutes industrial seriality into precise lightness.
